The album gave us the hits "What You Want", "Lookin' at Me" and "Feel So Good", which samples Kool and the Gang and Miami Sound Machine. Born Mason Betha and raised in Harlem, Mase retired from music in 1999 and later received an honorary degree from St. Paul's Bible Institute.
