John Denver's Greatest Hits was Denver's first compilation album and his best selling album. The release includes the classic hits "Take Me Home, Country Roads", "Sunshine on My Shoulders" and "Rocky Mountain High", and some re-recorded songs. John was born Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. in Roswell, New Mexico. He died in October 1997 when his small plane crashed off the coast of California.
