The album produced the #1 singles "It Wasn't Me" and "Angel", which is a mash up of the 1970s pop songs "The Joker" and "Angel of the Morning". Shaggy was born as Orville Richard Burrell in Jamaica and later moved to Brooklyn, New York. Burell served in the U.S. Marines during Operation Desert Storm.
