Cosmo's Factory was a huge commercial and critical success for CCR. Three of the album's ten tracks were top five hits, including "Lookin' Out My Back Door", "Travelin' Band" and "Up Around the Bend". The songs "Run Through the Jungle" and "Who'll Stop the Rain" became FM radio play list staples as well. CCR was established in El Cerrito, California.
