Going Places hit #1 for several weeks of spring 1966. The album produced four top singles: "Tijuana Taxi", "Spanish Flea", "Third Man Theme", and "Zorba the Greek". Ironically, no one in The Tijuana Brass was Hispanic and Alpert himself is Jewish.
