#1 Album on May 18, 1976

Black and Blue
Rolling Stones

Black and Blue reached #1 in spring of 1976 led by the hit song "Fool to Cry". The album is notable for its funk and reggae tone, a stylistic change from previous rock and pop albums produced by the band. Founding band member Brian Jones named the band in 1962 after the song "Rollin' Stone" by Muddy Waters.
